The Sharks continued their recovery on Sunday, thrashing Italy's Zebre 47-3 in the last 16 of their European Challenge Cup last 16 encounter in Durban.

They join the Bulls (Champions Cup) as the only other South African side to progress to the quarter-finals of their respective European knockout competitions this weekend with the Stormers, Lions and Cheetahs all bowing out.

It was one-way traffic throughout, with the Sharks scoring seven unanswered tries in wet and windy conditions.
