Cape Town - Proteas opening batsman Hashim Amla has shrugged off his record-breaking performance in the first ODI against Bangladesh in Kimberley.
Amla smashed an unbeaten 110 off 112 balls as the Proteas thrashed Bangladesh by 10 wickets at the Diamond Oval to take a 1-0 lead in their three-match ODI series.
Amla and opening partner Quinton de Kock (168*) shared a record partnership of 282* which entered the record books as the highest partnership to win an ODI or List A match by 10 wickets.
Sunday's record partnership was also the seventh time Amla has been involved in a double century stand in one-day cricket.

De Kock and Amla have now amassed 3 664 partnership runs in 77 innings - the most by any South African pair in ODIs - surpassing Herschelle Gibbs and Graeme Smith who scored 3 607 runs together.
Amla also notched up his 26th ODI ton in just 154 innings, breaking Virat Kohli's record, which had seen the Indian captain take 166 innings to reach the same milestone.
Speaking after the match, the humble Amla said that although he is pleased with the record, he had other things to worry about.
"We've got bigger things to worry about than records - like the ball coming at you," Amla told reporters.
"Just as the records came up, it's obviously nice to share those records with Quinton, but somebody else is going to break it and they're not really yours."
The second ODI gets underway on Wednesday at Boland Park from 10:00.
