Cape Town - Who should lead the Proteas Test side in their upcoming three-match series against Sri Lanka at home over the December and January periods?
That has been one of the major talking points following South Africa's recently completed 2-1 Test series win in Australia.
AB de Villiers is South Africa's official Test captain, but he has been missing with an elbow injury.
In his absence, Faf du Plessis has guided the Proteas to a 1-0 Test series win over New Zealand, a 5-0 ODI thrashing of the Aussies at home and then the 2-1 win Down Under.
The Proteas under Du Plessis have experienced a major resurgence - and it has complicated matters somewhat.
De Villiers is expected to be fit and ready for the Sri Lanka series, and Cricket South Africa (CSA) has confirmed that he will keep the Test captaincy.
But, according to Sport24 readers, that may not be the best bet.
66% of the participants felt that Du Plessis should keep the captaincy, while 34% backed De Villiers.
The first Test against Sri Lanka starts in Port Elizabeth on Boxing Day.
