Pakistan win toss and bat in 2nd Test

Abu Dhabi - Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat in the second Test against the West Indies played at Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Zayed Stadium on Friday.

Pakistan made three changes from the first Test - a day-night game played with pink ball - which they won by 56 runs in Dubai.

Senior batsman Younis Khan stages a comeback after missing the first Test as he was recovering from dengue fever. Left-arm spinner Zulfiqar Babar and fast bowler Rahat Ali also come in the side.

Pacemen Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz are rested while Babar Azam was left out.

West Indies were forced to make one change as wicketkeeper-batsman Shane Dowrich was unfit, making way for Shai Hope.

It is Misbah-ul-Haq's 48th Test as captain, equalling Imran Khan's record of most matches as Pakistan skipper.

The third and final Test will be played in Sharjah from October 30.
