London - South African born Keaton Jennings will be playing against his native country as the England Lions take on South Africa in a three-day match, which starts in Worcester on Thursday, June 29.
Gary Ballance has been appointed captain of a 12-man England Lions squad, which was announced on the ECB's official website.
Ballance is joined by three players from the England squad for this week's T20I series against South Africa - Sam Billings, Liam Livingstone and Mason Crane.
The South African Test squad has yet to be announced.
However, Proteas skipper Faf du Plessis is in doubt for the first of four Tests against England at Lord's on July 8, as he is awaiting the birth of his first child.
