PICS: SA Paralympians leave for Rio

Cape Town - The Rio Olympics are a thing of the past, but attention now turns to the 2016 Paralympic Games to be hosted in the same city. 

Members of Team South Africa, which is made up of 45 athletes this year, were given a warm send off at Cape Town International airport on Tuesday at the Western Cape Paralympic Farewell. 

The Paralympic Games will take place from September 7-18.
