But the sporting world never sleeps, so hang on tight and be sure to watch these FIVE events (in no particular order)!
1. SOWETO DERBY
The Soweto derby will get underway on Saturday!
Kaizer Chiefs Steve Komphela will be searching for his first league win over Orlando Pirates when the Soweto giants meet at the FNB Stadium.
Pirates are currently third on the standings, one point and one position above Amakhosi.
Will it end in another stalemate or will their be a victor?

2. AMERICAN GRAND PRIX
The Formula One circus roars into Austin this weekend with all eyes on the fierce battle between Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel and Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton.
Vettel trails Hamilton in this year's drivers' standings and a win for the Briton will further extend his lead on top and might secure him fourth title.

3. PROTEAS V BANGLADESH, 3RD ODI
The Proteas have clinched the ODI series against Bangladesh after a dominating display in the first two ODIs.
Faf du Plessis and his men NEED to complete a whitewash in order to retain their No 1 team ranking.
Play on Sunday in East London starts at 10:00.

4. ENGLISH PREMIERSHIP EXTRAVAGANZA!
The English Premiership is here to keep us entertained all through Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Some of the biggest fixtures include the blistering Manchester City taking on Burnley (Kick-off on Saturday, 16:00) and then the duel between Ronald Koeman's Everton as they host Arsene Wenger's Arsenal (Kick-off on Sunday, 14:30).
Then we end off the weekend to see the much-anticipated clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool (Kick-off on Sunday, 17:00).

5. CURRIE CUP SEMI-FINALS
We've come down to the final four!
We begin at Kings Park, where the Sharks will host the Blue Bulls on Saturday (14:30).
We end off at Newlands for the much-anticipated duel between Western Province and Golden Lions on Saturday (17:00).
