Boks' end of year fixtures confirmed

Cape Town - The Springboks will play three matches on their 2017 year-end tour to Europe.

A spokesperson for SA Rugby on Tuesday confirmed to Sport24 that the Springboks will conclude their season with Tests against Ireland (November 11), France (November 18) and Italy (November 25).

The Boks will have the chance to gain a measure of revenge against the Italians, to whom they lost 20-18 in Florence on last year's end of year tour.

The Boks start their season with three home Tests against the French - at Loftus Versfeld (June 10), Kings Park (June 17) and Ellis Park (June 24).

Meanwhile, South Africa’s home venues in the 2017 Rugby Championship will be announced by SA Rugby later this month.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
