Flanker roles for Du Toit, Alberts?

Cape Town - Pieter-Steph du Toit and Willem Alberts look likely to be the Springbok flanks for Saturday’s Test against England at Twickenham.

Kick-off will be at 16:30 (SA time).

The Boks have a crisis at loose forward, with all of Francois Louw, Jaco Kriel, Marcell Coetzee, Siya Kolisi and Roelof Smit injured, while Heinrich Brussow and Schalk Burger are not available.

This means that Du Toit - who has excelled at lock in 2016 - is likely to be picked out of position at flank.

According to reports emanating from England, Du Toit and Alberts will form a loose forward combination with No 8 Warren Whiteley.

Coetzee will name his team at 15:00 (SA time) on Thursday.
