Error-prone Bulls beaten by Brumbies

Cape Town - The Bulls' Australian tour came back to Earth with a bump as they crashed to defeat against the Brumbies in Canberra on Friday.

As it happened: Brumbies v Bulls

The Brumbies won 23-6 after leading 9-3 at half-time.

The Brumbies scored two tries through wing Nigel Ah Wong and scrumhalf Tomás Cubelli. Flyhalf Christian Lealiifano was on target with both conversions and three penalties.

The Bulls replied with two penalties by flyhalf Francois Brummer.

The Brumbies picked up four points for their victory and moved to the top of the Australian Conference and into second spot in the Australasian Group.

The Bulls, who beat the Force in their opening tour match, left empty-handed and failed to pick up a point and remained second in the Africa Conference 1 and third in the South African Group.

In next weekend's Round 12 action the Brumbies travel to Melbourne to face the Rebels (Friday, May 13 at 11:45 SA time), while the Bulls conclude their tour against the Waratahs in Sydney (Saturday, May 14 at 11:45 SA time).
