Joubert to referee Bulls v Lions derby

Cape Town - South Africa’s Craig Joubert will referee Saturday’s South African Super Rugby derby between the Bulls and Lions in Pretoria (17:10 kick-off).

Super Rugby referee appointments: Round 14

Joubert will be assisted by Marius van der Westhuizen and Cwengile Jadezweni, with Christie du Preez the television match official (TMO).

New Zealand’s Glen Jackson will referee the derby earlier in the day between the Stormers and Cheetahs in Cape Town (15:00).

Jackson will be assisted by Ben O'Keeffe and Nick Briant, with Shaun Veldsman the TMO.

Another Kiwi, Nick Briant, will be the referee when the Southern Kings host the Jaguares in Port Elizabeth on Friday night (19:00).

Briant will be assisted by Quinton Immelman and Ben Crouse, with Marius Jonker the TMO.

South Africa’s other team in the competition, the Sharks, have a bye this weekend.
