WATCH: Sharkie prepares for Jaguares

Durban - While the Sharks are in Argentina preparing for a crucial clash against the Jaguares on Saturday, their famous mascot, 'Sharkie', has been doing some ground work back in Durban.

The franchise posted a video on their Facebook page of Sharkie sitting in front of his computer at Sharks headquarters and Googling 'Jaguars Durban'.

His search took him to the doors of Jaguar and Land Rover car manufacturers in Durban, where he took on a 'Jaguar' in a series of challenges.

In the end, the score finished Sharkie 2-2 Jaguar.

The Sharks will hope that that is not a sign of things to come this weekend, given that last weekend's 9-9 draw against the Rebels in Durban was a low point this season.

The Sharks and the Jaguares are fighting it out for second spot in Africa Conference 2 and the wildcard playoff spot in the South African Group.

Kick-off in Buenos Aires is 21:40 (SA time).

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
