No change atop World Rugby rankings

Cape Town - New Zealand’s record-breaking win over Australia in Auckland has not brought about a change in the official World Rugby rankings.

The All Blacks’ 37-10 win was their 18th in a row, setting a new record for tier one Test nations.

But their lead over second-placed England remains at 7.08 points, as neither New Zealand's nor Australia's points total changed after the match at Eden Park.

The victory saw Steve Hansen’s side surpass the tier one record winning streak of 17 Tests previously held by the 1965-69 and 2013-14 All Blacks, as well as the 1997-98 Springboks.

Cyprus, a tier two nation, holds the official record with 24 consecutive Test wins - achieved between 2008 and 2014.

The Springboks, meanwhile, remain fourth in the rankings, behind the Wallabies, England and New Zealand.
