Klopp makes move for Moreno replacement

Cape Town - Lorient vice-president Alex Hayes has revealed that Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund are amongst four clubs to have tabled an offer for Raphael Guerreiro.

The 22-year-old left-back put clubs on alert last month after admitting he was considering his future after three seasons in Ligue 1 with Les Merlus.

Hayes moved to dismiss reports in Catalan newspaper Sport claiming that Barcelona have entered the race for the Portugal international, but confirmed approaches from the Reds and Dortmund.

However, he insisted that the French club would not be forced into selling Guerreiro, who has just over a year left on his contract Stade du Moustoir.

"No one wants to see Raphael leave, especially the president," Hayes told Ouest France. "He will only be transferred if a club makes an offer that we can't refuse.

"For the moment four major foreign clubs, including Dortmund and Liverpool, have made an offer.

"The fourth one shouldn't take too long to be made [officially] but for the moment none of them satisfy us. We're calm. We don't need to sell to balance the books."
