Cape Town - Emmanuel Letlotlo has been ruled out of action for up to three weeks with an injury he picked up in Kaizer Chiefs' 1-0 defeat to Cape Town City in the MTN8.
The highly-rated young striker, who signed a new deal before the start of the season said to be worth around R40 000-a-month for three years, was stretchered off during the clash in Cape Town recently.
Letlotlo was the top scorer in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge last season and a bright future in the game is predicted for him.
However, the 20-year-old has suffered a minor setback with the news he will be out of action until at least late September.
Chiefs' official Twitter account confirmed the diagnosis, saying,"Letlotlo tore a muscle that attaches to the hip bone and will be out of action for the next three weeks."
