Ea Lla Koto to bring in Uganda striker

Cape Town - Reports claim Free State Stars have swooped to sign Uganda international striker Hamis Kiiza from Tanzanian club Simba SC.

The Bethlehem-based club have enjoyed great success with their continental imports over the years and will be hoping that Kiiza will be the latest African star in their ranks.

The club sold Togo marksman Camildine Abraw to Kaizer Chiefs last season and battled to find a consistent goal-scorer for the 2015/16 campaign.

The 25-year-old Kiiza could potentially solve that issue as the former Young Africans forward struck 24 goals in all competitions for Simba last season, his first at the club.

According to KickOff, he has signed a two-year deal with Stars, Kiiza, known affectionately as Diego, having his move to Ea Lla Koto confirmed by a source close to the player.

"Our Diego, Hamis Kiiza has signed for Free State Stars yesterday. He is a striker and has been playing for Simba SC in Tanzania," claimed the source.
