Cape Town - Stanley Menzo has been named as the new coach of struggling PSL outfit Ajax Cape Town.
The news was confirmed by the club on Friday after Roger de Sa resigned from his post as head coach on Thursday.
It has been a woeful start to the league season for the Urban warriors, who have gone six league games without a win to sit second bottom of the PSL log.
Menzo, who is Dutch, is a former goalkeeper and is 53-years-old.
As a player he won the UEFA Cup, UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and three league titles with Ajax Amsterdam in Holland.
He has been working with the Ajax Cape Town youth structures, but now faces a massive task to turn things around.
