Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town coach Stanley Menzo is hoping Kaizer Chiefs' style of play will provide his side with a chance at getting a positive result.
The Urban Warriors host Chiefs at Athlone on Saturday still looking for a first win of 2017, having lost to Bidvest Wits and Cape Town City before drawing 1-1 with Polokwane City in their last outing.
Just a point off the top of the table and with five consecutive league wins behind them, Amakhosi will surely be favourites on Saturday.
But Menzo is hoping that Chiefs' attacking style could give his team a sneak at a result.
"If I am honest, and I don't know why (I feel like this), but I'd rather play a team like Kaizer Chiefs than a Polokwane City for example, or teams that wait for the counter-attack," Menzo told the Ajax website.
"Chiefs are a team that like to play, like to have the ball, as a result, there will be space for us to play.
"We are also a team that likes to play, likes to have the ball, so it will be more a football game than a tactical game in terms of waiting for a mistake and then counter-attacking.
"Let's see if we are able to disrupt their way of playing and if we are able to play our own game, and I think if we play our own game we will have more possibilities," he elaborated.
