Beaten Wimbledon finalist Cilic to tie the knot

Cape Town - Wimbledon finalist Marin Cilic has got engaged to longtime girlfriend Kristina Milkovic, according to reports. 

According to the Tennis World website, the world sixth-ranked Croatian, who is a former US Open champion, is currently spending time in Dubrovnik with his wife to be.

A close friend of the couple has confirmed that the two have exchanged rings.

The two, who have been dating for almost eight years, met in 2008 during the Davis Cup. 

Posts on Cilic’s Instagram profile show that he is currently in Croatia.

Cilic was beaten in straight sets in this year's Wimbledon final by Switzerland's Roger Federer.
