McEnroe to help Raonic at Wimbledon

Paris - Seven-time major winner John McEnroe will join the coaching team of Milos Raonic at Wimbledon in an attempt to steer the big Canadian to a Grand Slam breakthrough.

McEnroe, 57, who won Wimbledon in 1981, 1983 and 1984, said he will work alongside Raonic's full-time coach Carlos Moya at the All England Club.

"When it comes to Wimbledon I'll be taking on and I'm gonna help coach this guy named Milos," McEnroe told Eurosport television at the French Open.

World number nine Raonic made the semi-finals at Wimbledon in 2014 where he lost in straight sets to Roger Federer.

Former French Open champion Moya struggled at Wimbledon, only reaching the fourth round in 2004.
