The Proteas will take on Afghanistan in their next Cricket World Cup match on Saturday, June 15.
The match has been called off at the Rose Bowl with only 7.3 overs played.
Each team will earn a point.
South Africa bag their first points of the Cricket World Cup, but still winless with five matches to go.
