Cape Town - The Proteas' Cricket World Cup squad took time out of their preparations on Tuesday to climb Table Mountain.
For several members of the 15-man squad - including all-rounder Andile Phehlukwayo - and the management team, it was their first ascent of one of the New7Wonders of Nature.
The squad will get down to more serious business later this week with their final practice sessions on home soil as they look to land a maiden World Cup title in what will be their eighth appearance.
The Proteas boast four semi-final, two quarter-final and one group phase elimination in their previous seven showings.
The squad will depart South Africa on Sunday, May 19 with their opening match of the tournament scheduled for Thursday, May 30 against hosts England at The Oval.
