Cape Town - Proteas opener Aiden Markram has made a forgettable start to his county stint with Durham against Kent at Chester-le-Street.

Markram, 22, has signed a short-term contract and will stay on until the middle of May.
However, the prolific batsman made an inauspicious start after a pair of ducks on the opening day of the season.
Markram was trapped lbw by New Zealand's Matt Henry with the eighth ball he faced in Durham's first innings of 91.
Things got no better in his second knock as Henry struck again, having Markram caught by Ivan Thomas for a third-ball duck.
Cricket statistician Andrew Samson was quick to point out that Markram had set an unwanted 'record'.
Aiden Markram is the first player to make a pair on his first day of County Championship cricket.
