Cape Town - Caster Semenya has yet another 800m title behind her name.
Representing Africa in the IAAF Continental Cup, Semenya raced to victory in the women's 800m event, stopping the clock in a time of 1:54.77.
She was followed home by Ajee Wilson (USA) who finished in 1:57.16 and Natoya Ghoule (Jamaica) who finished third in 1:57.36. Both athletes represented the Americas at the competition, the format of which see continent racing against continent.
Semenya is now unbeaten for three years in the 800m event, winning the 2016 Olympic title as well as the World Championship in 2017 in the process.
Semenya recently appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) to challenge upcoming International Athletics Federation (IAAF) rules on testosterone levels in female athletes.
These rules are to be introduced later in the year and would require Semenya to take a tablet to lower her naturally occurring testosterone levels.
