Cape Town - American basketball star LeBron James travelled to Berlin, Germany on Sunday to watch South African athlete Caster Semenya compete.
Semenya did not disappoint in front of the NBA superstar as she won the women’s 1 000m at the IAAF World Challenge Meeting.
James, who is a superstar for NBA outfit Los Angeles Lakers, met Semenya afterwards and also posed for a picture with the South African athletics star.
Semenya took to Twitter, saying James had made her year by turning up.
When the greatness meet up ???. You just made my year for showing up to watch me race. This is too much #striveforgreatness pic.twitter.com/h3Gle8R3GT
