Bank on mayhem in the Merseyside derby

accreditation

Cape Town - All eyes will fall on the North West of England on Sunday where we've got back-to-back Merseyside and Manchester derby matches.

Over at BET Central - the BET.co.za HQ - we get ridiculously swept up in occasions like this and have been at the BET Boost maker all week, squeezing them out like sausages.

A penalty awarded and a player sent off in the Merseyside Derby - 11/1

The dirtiest Premier League fixture by a country mile with 21 red cards dished out since 1992, this BET Boost holds plenty of appeal to those who enjoy playing the averages.  With a red card almost every second game, and the two teams passionately tearing into each other, this holds plenty of appeal.  Throw in Everton's slow and ponderous defence and the pace of the Liverpool front four, and you could just see someone getting hacked down in the penalty area.

Wayne Rooney to score and be carded - 8/1

What a sporting fairytale it would be if Rooney could bang in a goal at Anfield.  We don't think the card will be a problem, with the Croxeth-born brawler sure to be fired up for the occasion.

Man City to win-from-behind - 10/1

Manchester United used to love their 'Fergie time', but it's the blue half of Manchester that can now lay claim to vital late goals.  'Peppie Time' if you'll allow the pun. Late goals against Everton, Bournemouth and West Ham have been vital in them opening up such a lead and if they go behind, who would write them off?

David de Gea to be Man of The Match - 15/1

Arsene Wenger and the Arsenal fans are still tapping away at their calculators trying to figure out just how many goals they would have scored against United were it not for David de Gea.  There's not much De Gea can't keep out and it's not hard to imagine he'll be given plenty of chances to show his skills on Sunday.  If United win or draw it could be de Gea getting the M.O.T.M.
