BET.co.za announce signing of Jimmy Tau

Cape Town - South African sports betting kingpins BET.co.za announced the signing of former Chiefs, Pirates and Bafana Bafana legend, Jimmy Tau on Wednesday.

The rock-solid 37-year-old defender said he’s still got plenty of petrol in the tank as he put pen to paper on a deal that sees him become the captain of BET.co.za United!

Speaking to after his signing, Tau said, “I am thrilled to be joining the one of the best sports betting sites in South Africa. I am very proud to be the first Brand Ambassador for BET.co.za and look forward to meeting their fans all around the country and help to introduce new fans to the excitement of sports betting. Hopefully I can also land a few tips as well.

“Signing Jimmy Tau is a huge coup for BET.co.za,” said Scott Canny, CEO of BET.co.za.

“We’ve been after his signature for some time and to see him finally wearing our kit is a magnificent moment for us. He will bring his ambition, drive and personality, qualities that will help drive BET.co.za forward and make a huge difference to the team.”

Tau’s first duties as captain will involve weekly strategy meetings where he’ll be giving Tau’s Tips every Thursday with boosted odds on his soccer fancies for the weekend.
