Bookies back Blitzboks to win in Cape Town
Cape Town - The Blitzboks will add a second 2017/18 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series title to their name in Cape Town this weekend, if bookmakers are to be believed...
After having won the opening leg in Dubai last weekend, Neil Powell's men start as red-hot favourites at the Cape Town Stadium this time around.
Leading SA bookies BET.co.za have installed the Blitzboks as 3/4 favourites, followed by Fiji at 33/10.
New Zealand, beaten finalists in Dubai, are on offer at 8/1, while England, last year's winners in Cape Town, are available at 10/1.
The Blitzboks have been drawn in an easy-looking Pool A where they will face Kenya - whom they trashed 48-5 in Dubai - and France and Russia, both of whom failed to win a single pool match last weekend.
Play gets under way at 10:15 on Saturday with the Blitzboks set to open their campaign against Russia at 12:49.
The final is due to start at 19:44 on Sunday.
