Pep Guardiola's side cruised to this season's title in emphatic fashion, losing only two of their 37 matches played to date.

They currently hold a 19-point lead over second placed side, their cross-town rivals, Manchester United.

City have also smashed Chelsea's previous season points total record of 95, with 97 points to their name as they prepare to travel to the St. Mary's Stadium to face Southampton on Sunday.

Kick-off is at 16:00 SA time.

For their part, the Saints are all-but assured of English Premiership survival, with only a combination of freakish scorelines able to condemn them to Championship football in 2018/19.

Leading SA bookies BET.co.za have installed City as 9/50 favourites, with Southampton on offer at 21/4. The draw can be backed at 37/10.
