Leading SA bookmakers BET.co.za have the Sharks and Lions down as winners at home, but the Stormers and Bulls to endure heartache in New Zealand and Australia, respectively.

Kicking things off on Friday, the Stormers visit Dunedin to take on the Highlanders (08:35 SA time).

The Stormers are winless to date on their Australasian tour and will look to head home on a high.

BET.co.za have the Highlanders as 16.5-point handicap favourites and 11/100 for the outright win. The Stormers can be backed at 11/2, while the draw is on offer at 30/1.

Things aren't expected to get much better from a SA point of view in Saturday's Reds v Bulls clash in Brisbane (10:45 SA time).

The Bulls, in their first match Down Under, are 2.5-point handicap underdogs and an attractive 23/20 for the victory outright. The Reds can be backed at 7/10 and the draw is available at 22/1.

There should be better news in the afternoon's two matches back in South Africa with the Sharks kicking off proceedings against the Sunwolves.

BET.co.za have installed the Durban-side as 24.5-point handicap favourites and 3/100 outright, while the minnows from Japan are on offer at 12/1. The draw can be taken at 50/1.

Finally, the undefeated Lions welcome the winless Blues to Ellis Park (17:15).

The Blues on their day possess the ability to beat any side, but Tana Umaga's men have struggled to put together a full 80 minutes of rugby this year, although the Sonny Bill Williams factor can never be discounted.

BET.co.za have the Lions as 9.5-point handicap favourites and 27/100 for the win. The Blues can be backed at 29/10 for victory, while the draw is on offer at 25/1.
