Golden Lions to host Currie Cup semi after Griquas thriller

Cape Town - The Golden Lions will host a home Currie Cup semi-final at Ellis Park next weekend after a pulsating final group stage clash against Griquas in Kimberley on Saturday.

The Lions won 27-26.

Griquas, who have also qualified for the semi-finals, will have to wait for the results of matches later in the day to see whether they too will be hosting a playoff - or will have to take to the road.
