Cape Town - Italian side Treviso held off a committed Kings team to claim a narrow 36-35 win in their PRO14 clash at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth on Saturday.
The Kings came into the match high on confidence having finally broken their losing duck with their maiden win of their maiden PRO14 season against the Dragons in their last outing three weeks ago.
And they came agonisingly close to making it back-to-back victories, but fell short in the end.
The result was far closer than the first clash between the two sides back in October when the Kings lost 31-3 in Italy.
The Kings remain bottom of Conference B and will play Munster in their next match on Friday, April 13 at Outeniqua Park in George.
