The 20-year-old said his biggest fear was "not being able to play rugby anymore".

"I believe rugby is my calling in life and there are so many goals I want to achieve before hanging up my boots."

Regarding the lockdown due to the coronavirus, Louw added: "I honestly don't know what to do with all of this free time we've had since the suspension of the PRO14 tournament. I haven't had more than a week off at once in two years!

"I've been using this time to catch up with family and friends. I'm also staying fit by doing cardio and weights daily. I think at the moment all the players are doing the most we can with what we have at our disposal.

"I cannot wait to put my boots on again. We still had a long stretch of the season left so I was looking forward to playing more rugby. Not playing for this long is extremely tough for me."

The Kings are currently bottom of the PRO14's Conference B, having won just one out of 13 games.
