Cape Town - The Southern Kings are still searching for their first win in the PRO14 after they lost 31-3 to Benetton Treviso in Italy on Saturday evening.
What will be of particular concern is the fact that the Kings were unable to score a try against one of the weaker teams in the competition.
Benetton scored four tries in the match with two coming for wing Angelo Esposito, one in each half.
The other tries for the home side came from No 8 Marco Barbini and replacement Cherif Traore who scored the bonus point try at the final whistle.
Flyhalf Pieter–Steyn de Wet managed a lone penalty for the Kings.
The Kings now have a break of a couple of weeks before they play Warriors in Scotland on October 27.
