Cape Town - The Kings registered their first win of the 2018 PRO14 in commanding fashion on Saturday when they downed the Glasgow Warriors 38-28 at the Madibaz Stadium in Port Elizabeth.

It was a superb performance from Deon Davids' men, who had led 24-0 at half-time and then 31-0 in the second half before the Warriors began to hit back.

It was too late, though, and despite the Warriors finishing stronger they had left themselves far too much to do.

The Kings scored five tries, ensuring that they left the match with a bonus point

Tries from Yaw Penxe, Martin du Toit (2), Rudi van Rooyen and Berton Klaasen got the Kings over the line, while Masixole Banda slotted four conversions and a penalty.

Glasgow, meanwhile, scored four tries.
