No shock as Blitzboks fail to crack Sydney Dream Team

Cape Town - For the second straight World Rugby Sevens Series stop no South African player managed to crack the tournament's Dream Team.

The Blitzboks could manage no better than fifth place in Sydney, Australia when all was said and done on Sunday, slipping a full 19 points behind joint overall leaders, New Zealand and the USA.

A hat-trick of titles for Neil Powell's men now seems a distinct unlikelihood.

The Dream Team featured Fijian duo Mesulame Kunavula and Alosio Naduva, while England were represented by Dan Norton.

The two finalists, New Zealand and the USA, had two representatives each in Sam Dickson (who was also player of the final) and Kurt Baker for the All Blacks, and the United States' Madison Hughes and Stephen Tomasin.

The next stop on the calendar is Las Vegas from March 1-3, followed the week thereafter by Vancouver in Canada.
