Scotland's Wilson will miss rest of Six Nations with knee injury

Edinburgh - Scotland loose forward Ryan Wilson will miss the rest of the Six Nations because of knee ligament damage.

Wilson was injured on Saturday in the 22-13 loss to Ireland at Murrayfield.

Losing Wilson depletes Scotland's back-row stocks, after injuries to John Barclay, Hamish Watson, John Hardie, David Denton, and Sam Skinner. Rob Harley, who replaced Wilson against Ireland, will be favoured to continue.

Center Huw Jones and fullback Stuart Hogg suffered knee and shoulder ligament injuries respectively in the same game.

However, they have remained in the squad and will be assessed by a specialist this week, the Scottish Rugby Union said on Monday.

Scotland's next game is against France on Febuar 23 in Paris, where the Scots have not won in 20 years.

They finish against Wales and England.
