Cape Town - The Hurricanes Twitter page dished up a shocking post during Friday's Super Rugby clash against the Chiefs in Hamilton.
The Chiefs went on to win the match 28-24 in front of their home fans.
There was, however, an unsavoury moment after 62 minutes when Chiefs No 12 Johnny Fa'auli was shown a straight red card for a no-arms tackle on his opposite number, Wes Goosen.
Goosen left the field looking a little groggy, and whoever was running the Hurricanes Twitter account clearly did not approve of Fa'auli's hit.
"What a shocker ... player with a bad history of that crap," the franchise posted.
The Hurricanes could not go on to make their numerical advantage count, with the Chiefs scoring another try to claim the win.
The sides will meet again in next weekend's quarter-final in Wellington.
