The 22-year-old joins the Durban-based outfit from the Bulls whom he's represented since 2016.

Libbok is mostly a flyhalf, but can also slot in at fullback, wing or centre.

"I'm delighted to be joining the Sharks and I really look forward to my arrival in Durban and putting on the black and white jersey. I want to thank the Sharks for this opportunity and I can't wait to play in front of the Sharks fans at Kings Park," Libbok said via a video clip posted on the Sharks' twitter page.

The Bulls also wished Libbok well with his future endeavours.

"Libbok is a great young player, and will grow into something very special. We respect his decisions and wish him well with the next steps in his career," the Pretoria franchise's director of rugby Jake White said via a press statement.
