Sharks snap up Maties star flyhalf

Cape Town - The Sharks have opened their wallet once more as they snapped by Maties flyhalf Jordan Chait on Friday.

Chait was part of this year's Varsity Cup winning squad, who defeated Tuks 34-12 in the final in Stellenbosch.

Chait will join the Sharks family from the start of pre-season.

On Wednesday, the Sharks confirmed the arrival of Lions wing Madosh Tambwe, on Tuesday they announced the capture of Lions loose forward James Venter, while on Thursday, Stormers' loose forward Sikhumbuzo Notshe penned a deal.

Also rumoured to be heading to Kings Park include Cheetahs duo Ox Nche (prop) and Henco Venter (loose forward) as well as former Blitzbok standout Werner Kok.

The Sharks kick off their Super Rugby campaign against the Bulls in all-South African derby on Friday, January 31 in Durban (19:10).
