Cape Town - Bulls wing Rosko Specman is eager to prove that he belongs in the XV-man code.
Specman made headlines in sevens rugby over the past few seasons and was a vital member of the Blitzboks team that won consecutive World Rugby Sevens Series crowns.
But the 29-year-old is now committed to the XV-man code and has been included in the Bulls’ Super Rugby squad for the 2019 season.
"It wasn’t a tough decision to come to the Bulls. In the past I showed at the Pumas and Cheetahs that I can play XV-man rugby," Specman told Netwerk24.
Specman played 45 times for the Pumas between 2013 and 2015 and had a stint at the Cheetahs in 2017.
"I went to sevens in 2014 to improve my skills and I had a goal for the next four seasons. I achieved it and want to start a new chapter at the Bulls. I know I can make an impact in both formats and it is exciting times for me."
Specman will compete for a spot in the Bulls starting XV with wings like Travis Ismaiel, Cornal Hendricks, Duncan Matthews, Jade Stighling and Divan Rossouw.
The Bulls open their 2019 Super Rugby campaign with a home game against the Stormers at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday, February 16.
