Cape Town - A die-hard Northampton Saints fan has stuck to his word and inked his arm with Springbok scrumhalf Cobus Reinach’s signature.
Reinach, 28, has been in tremendous form for Northampton in England this season.
Sam Mobley tweeted back in December 2018 that if Reinach scored in their next game, he'll get the 10-Test Springbok's name tattooed on his arm.
True to form, Reinach scored an intercept try in Saints' next match - and Mobley followed through on his promise by getting the tattoo a day later after Reinach had provided him with his signature in his own handwriting.
Reinach, the son of former Springbok wing Jaco Reinach, played 60 Super Rugby matches for the Sharks before heading north to continue his career.
Together with compatriot Faf de Klerk, the pair have been two of the stand-out scrumhalves in England in recent times.
Okay, if @c_reinach scores on Friday against Chiefs I will get his name tattooed on me.. @SaintsRugby can we give him player of the season already? Quickly grab a signature off of him on a piece of paper titled ‘contract’ and have it expire in 2030..
