Sharks' Du Preez brothers set for stints in England

Cape Town - All three of the Sharks' Du Preez brothers will have short stints in England before the start of next year's Super Rugby.

According to Rapport, Jean-Luc du Preez is the latest of the three brothers to be offered a short-term deal in the English Premiership and he will join flyhalf Robert du Preez at Sale Sharks from Monday.

Current Springbok scrumhalf Faf de Klerk also plays for the club.

Dan du Preez, meanwhile, will join Exeter Chiefs.

All three will be back in time for Super Rugby 2019.

Robert and Dan du Preez, in particular, were considered key to the Sharks winning the Currie Cup this year, but it was not enough to secure a place in the Springbok squad for the end-of-year tour.

Sale are currently second bottom of the English log, while Exeter are top with six wins from six.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
