Cape Town - Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has again blasted the board for failing to support him with his targets following their UEFA Champions League elimination at the hands of Barcelona.
The Italian has been publicly critical of the Blues' transfer policy at various points this season after failing to deliver a number of his top targets, including Alex Sandro and Leonardo Bonucci.
The champions of England are also fighting to keep their two stars in Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois, who have both been linked with Spanish giants Real Madrid.
"If you remember last season, we won the title. And then ... I repeat, last season we won the title and you saw our transfer market," Conte told the media.
"Don't forget that two years ago Chelsea finished 10th, with many players of this season.
"And they decided to continue to play for this club, two years ago. Will they look to leave now? I don't know. I think this is not a question for me. This is a question for the players. Not for me.
"I think this is not the most important thing if you stay in the Champions League."
