No AC Milan offer for Torreira - Agent

Cape Town - The agent of Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira has responded to reports linking the player with a move to AC Milan, after revealing he has not yet received an offer for his client.

The 23-year-old admits he is struggling to adapt to life in England after arriving from Serie A side Sampdoria last summer, and a return to Italy has been suggested.

Milan have been heavily linked and such a move would make sense as the Rossoneri are now lead by Marco Giampaolo, who coached him at Samp.

However, for now it looks like a deal is unlikely as Milan are keen on Sassuolo midfielder Stefano Sensi, while Torreira's agent, Pablo Bentancur, says there has been no contact over a move.

Bentancur admits that the move would be 'special' and would interest his client, but there has to be an offer first and as things stand there has not been one.

"I don't know anything about the Rossoneri's interest, no-one's contacted me," he revealed.

"I learned about this possibility through the press."
