Pochettino: 'I am very happy at Tottenham'

Cape Town - Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has reaffirmed his commitment to the north London outfit, saying he is "very happy" at the club.

The Argentine tactician has been linked with moves to Real Madrid and Manchester United in the past, but he remains at the helm at Spurs.

Pochettino looks set to lead the club in a new era at their new stadium, once it opens in April.

The 47-year-old signed a five-year contract at the club 10 months ago and he insists life is good at the north London outfit.

He said: "I am very happy at Tottenham. I have four more years on my contract. Maybe 99 per cent of my colleagues have a different mindset.

"I enjoy it day by day and whatever happens tomorrow will be a consequence of today. But I don't look at things too far ahead or think very long term.

"When I signed my contract, I did it because I was happy."
