PSG star Rabiot keen on United move

Cape Town - Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot is reportedly keen on joining Manchester United when his current deal expires at the end of the season.

The 23-year-old is heading for the exit door after refusing to sign a new deal with the French champions, and it looked as though Barcelona were in the box seat to do a deal.

However, reports emanating from France have suggested that things have changed and United are now leading the race to land him on a free transfer.

It is claimed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sees him as the ideal player to link up defence and attack and has made him a top target if, as expected, he gets the United job on a permanent basis.

United are also said to be willing to match the player's demands of £200,000 a week in wages plus a £10million signing on fee to ensure they win the day.

There is also interest from the likes of Liverpool and Bayern Munich, but if reports are to be believed, then Rabiot has set his heart on United after hearing about Solskjaer's vision for the future and his role in it.
