Cape Town - Cape Town City and Benni McCarthy have been charged by the PSL following the coach's post-match comments directed at match official Phillip Tinyani.
McCarthy will appear before the Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee next Tuesday after he called referee Tinyani a “cow” following the 2-1 loss to Chippa United on October 21, 2017.
McCarthy was asked in the post-match interview about Tinyani’s performance and simply responded: “Don’t ask me about that cow.”

JONATHAN SCHLOSS AND BIDVEST WITS FC:
Jonathan Schloss and Bidvest Wits have been charged with misconduct pursuant to the fixture between Bidvest Wits and Kaizer Chiefs which took place on September 16, 2017.
Schloss will appear on Tuesday evening.
PLATINUM STARS FC:
The club has been charged with contravening the Compliance Manual for failing to submit their provisional squad list ahead of their fixture against Maritzburg United on October 27, 2017 at the Harry Gwala Stadium.
The matter will appear next Tuesday, November 21.
