Brockie unavailable to face Sundowns

Cape Town - Maritzburg United have confirmed that Jeremy Brockie will not be available to play against parent club Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday due to a clause in his loan contract.

Brockie, who joined Maritzburg on loan in September, will not be eligible for the clash with Sundowns due to an agreement made between the clubs prior to the New Zealand international signing.

"The club would like to confirm that Jeremy Brockie is unavailable to face his parent club Mamelodi Sundowns this Saturday," Team of Choice spokesperson Zolani Msobo confirmed.

"It was a decision taken prior to him arriving at the Team of Choice based on our working relationship with Sundowns. He will be available for selection for our upcoming home game against Chippa United on September 27."
