Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs and Baroka FC are reportedly in negotiations regarding Bakgaga captain Mduduzi Mdantsane making a move to Naturena.
Mdantsane caught the eye in 2018/19 as he scored four goals and recorded six assists in the Premiership.
The forward also hit two goals in the Telkom Knockout and added a single assist to his name as Wedson Nyirenda's men won the competition by defeating Orlando Pirates.
A source told KickOff: "There are offers for the boy from Chiefs and Highlands Park, those are the two serious teams.
"So they are still busy negotiating with the chairman of Baroka. Bobby [Motaung] is the one who approached his agent, it seems they want him back home. Maybe he will make them great again, who knows?
"When the agent broke the news to the boy, the boy said if the offer is successful he can take it. His contract at Baroka is only left with one year. It ends in July next year. What's left now is for Mr [Khurishi] Mphahlele to reply. It will all depend on the two clubs because the boy just wants to play football.
"I think Chiefs have already spoken to the chairman, then Highlands Park have just started showing their interest recently you see. They have spoken to the agent only, and the agent referred them to the chairperson. I think both teams are still waiting for the chairman to name his price. They are still negotiating."
